Nathan Campozano (he/they) is a recent graduate from Purchase College, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science and Gender Studies. After gathering experience working as an outreach coordinator with local and on-campus organizations, Nathan became interested in understanding community as a resource and tool of resistance. Academically, Nathan explored queer theory and the intricacies of marginalized LGBTQ+ communities. Having focused much of their college career on advocacy and research, Nathan developed a passion for finding new ways to create access to resources that assist queer youth.
When not engaged in these activities, they enjoy journaling, crafting, and reading. Nathan grew up reading many engaging book series such as Junie B. Jones and the Magic Tree House series. Today, he is invested in seeing stories from different backgrounds being told.
Katie (she/her) is a senior at Marist College majoring in political science and minoring in women’s, gender, & sexuality studies and music. Coming from a family of educators, Katie has always been passionate about having meaningful and inclusive resources in schools. She is dedicated to LGBTQ+ advocacy and plans to pursue a nonprofit policy career in the future.
At college, Katie is heavily involved in Marist’s music program and spends most of her free time singing with friends or listening to her favorite music artists. Katie also loves to read, and her all-time favorite book is the Nightingale by Kristin Hannah.
