Upcoming educator panel: Spotlight: A Closer Look at PLP Picks and Tips for Classroom Use. February 7, 2023 @ 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM ET.
New partnership: Together Only Human and Ritual Chocolate donated $4,000 for PLP and we were able to send 320 books to 160 teachers. We are excited to welcome them to the PLP family!
Updates
Second Annual Banned Together Virtual Auction: Thanks to our amazing celebrity sponsors, small businesses, and authors, we surpassed our goal of $10,000 by raising $11,500 to send 920 LGBTQ-inclusive books across the US and Canada!
Penguin Young Readers Update: We have sent our first 500 copies of Kapaemahu to teachers in the US (35 states in total) and Canada (3 provinces in total). We are excited to sent the next 500 copies beginning this month!
On GivingTuesday, we’ve sent 20 copies of The You Kind of Kind to followers who shared their random acts of kindness on social media!
Pride and Less Prejudice turns 3: PLP milestones for 2022: Over 7,500 books sent, Over $112,000 in donations received, Over 3,750 classrooms reached in the U.S. and Canada and Over 75,000 students reached with an average of 20 students per classroom!
Read-alouds available for Kind Like Marsha: Learning from LGBTQ+ Leaders, Peaceful Fights for Equal Rights, Jacob's School Play: Starring He, She, and They, Mr. Watson's Chickens and Teo's Tutu.

Thank you to Tegan and Sarah Foundation. In the past few years, we have received a few Community Grants as well as the Trans Youth Grant for a total of $10,000, to send 588 books to 294 classrooms across the United States and Canada.
