Book Launch: 2023-2024 Book Launch is up! Check out our 2023-2024 Book Launch that we launched last August! We are so excited to feature 16 titles for the next school year! We are happy to share this with you all!
Upcoming Virtual Auction: Banned Together (Banned Books Week 2023). We invite you to bid on a variety of items, including theater and concert tickets, book subscriptions and gift cards, self care boxes, pride themed items, and donations from prominent celebrities! Bidding will open on Thursday October 5 @ 10:00 am ET and will close on Sunday October 8 @ 10:00 pm ET. Auction items will be available for preview on October 1, 2023.
Updates
Library of Congress National Book Festival - Pride and Less Prejudice was invited to the National Book Festival sponsored by the Library of Congress on Saturday, August 12 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in DC. We had a wonderful day meeting teachers, kids, and book lovers. We could not help but feel the love - what a great opportunity for many people to learn about our mission and all the ways we can support each other. Our table included an activity, See Yourself, Be Yourself, with the prompt, “Draw or write one thing that you like about yourself” A great exercise for us all - think about it for a minute!
