We usually keep the next year’s book list under wraps until a big back-to-school reveal, but this news was too good to keep quiet. Pride and Prejudice is thrilled to announce that we've selected Robb Pearlman and Dani Jones's The Sublime Ms. Stacks for our 2022-2023 book list, and we partnered with the publisher, Bloomsbury, to offer our teachers and librarians an early, FREE copy of this high-energy, wonderfully affirming storytime friendly picture book!

In The Sublime Ms. Stacks, Mr. Stephen is a stellar librarian, but when storyhour rolls around Mr. Stephen vanishes and Ms. Stacks takes over with enthusiasm and flair to encourage kids to express their creative selves. Author Robb Pearlman is no stranger to the PLP book list – you may recall we featured his book Pink is For Boys for the 2019-2020 school year. For a sneak peek of the book, which hits shelves on June 7th, Robb has recorded a read-aloud video of Ms. Stacks you can find at bit.ly/SublimeMsStacks. On that page you’ll also find a Form to tell Bloomsbury your three favorite read-aloud picks and claim your copy of the book by July 15, 2022. That’s right – they'll send you a free copy of this *sparkling* story to share with your students!
