Book Launch: 2023-2024 Round Up

Kit Ballenger

The summer might’ve been unusually hot, but we have a pretty cool announcement for your fall: Pride and Less Prejudice has new Book Bundles! We are offering 16 titles to PreK - 3rd Grade classrooms for the 2023-2024 school year that reflect a wide range of LGBTQIA+ identities and lived experiences, available for free by request through our online form. We’re delighted to bring you a book list that includes a mix of fiction and nonfiction books by new and familiar authors and illustrators, and our selections include a variety of formats – including an illustrated chapter book and our first wordless picture book – to serve a wide array of readers. As always, we offer a Teaching Guide for each selection to help you incorporate the books into your curriculum, and we will bring you recorded read-alouds by many of the books’ creators in the months to come.
